Our trips are for up to 6 people, and we offer private trips exclusively.

Stuff you should know.

Where do we start?

Your morning starts at the dock near McCrae’s, where one of our U.S.C.G. charter captains will pick you and your group up and take you due west out of the Homosassa River to the scalloping grounds.

What is the scenery like?

The ride out of the Homosassa River is one of the most scenic boat rides in the state and is “Old Florida” Once out of the river, we head to where the scallops are plentiful.

What is the trip like?

Snorkels, Mask, and fins are provided for you and once you have all of your gear on and your Captain has gone over a brief safety protocol, you begin searching for your scallops! Although we cannot guarantee limits of scallops.

How log do trips last?

Our trips are typically 4-5 hours in duration and include a visit back up to the headwaters of Homosassa river where clients will have a chance to swim with manatees and dolphins in Gin clear and a brisk 72 degrees Spring.

What do we do with the Scallops?

We recommend you clean them yourself or pay one of the many locals who will clean and bag your catch for a nominal fee.
